Any Random Tuesday is a ledger of how I think—written for my family, my friends, and whoever else lands here.
I'm John. By day I work in kidney care; the rest of the time I'm a husband, a father, and someone who can't stop trying to understand how things work—systems, people, taste, attention, fatherhood. This site is where that thinking goes on the record.
The name is a goal and a rebellion at once. The goal is a life with room in it—the freedom to take any random Tuesday and spend it at the park, at the beach, anywhere, just because we feel like it. The rebellion is against my own habit of assigning meaning to everything, down to launch dates. This site went up on July 21, 2026. The day means nothing. That's the point.
Two things live here. The ledger: essays and snapshots, posted on random Tuesdays. The margin: the thoughts I keep circling back to—principles, small philosophies, lessons—each with an honest count of how often it has come up.
It's for my son and my family first, so there's a written record of how my mind worked and what I loved—the thing I wish I had from the generations before me. And if a stranger leaves seeing something a little differently, that's more than enough.
If something here makes you curious where it came from—ask me. That's half the reason it's public.
